# Origin of the name MashiroAI

## Origin of the name MashiroAI

The development of AI technology has a long history, and it was only in the mid-2010s that the idea became feasible and began to be implemented in society today. 

AI technology is the crystallization of the best of the history of computer science, but it is like a baby that cannot do anything without learning a model. 

But now, as DeepL is well known, AI is being used everywhere from NovelAI to Github Copilot as an extension of human intelligence. We decided to call it MashiroAI, which means "pure white AI" in reference to the fact that it started from a pure white place and became as intelligent as or more than a human being.
